What Makes it Shine There's nothing to hate about this series. If you're into manga or graphic novels with a mix of humor and heavy topics, this is your jam. I've been a fan of Tagame's work for ages, especially his more adult stuff, but "My Brother's Husband" hits differently. The art's spot-on, balancing playful expressions with serious moments. But what really nails it is the writing. Tagame pours so much emotion into every page that you'll find yourself tearing up without even realizing it. Personal Connection As a gay dude who came out early, this story hit close to home. It dredged up memories and feelings I hadn't touched in years. The struggles and triumphs of these brothers, plus the presence of Mike, Ryoji's husband, and Kana, Yaichi's daughter, make for a tale anyone can connect with. Plus, there's a live-action adaptation in the works, so fingers crossed they do it justice! Overall Impression I stumbled upon this series online, and I couldn't hit "buy" fast enough. I snagged both volumes and devoured them quicker than my dinner got cold. It's a powerful story about culture clashes, family dynamics, and breaking down barriers. The art? Top-notch. As a fan of yaoi, I was immediately drawn to 'Mori no Kuma-san, Toumin-chuu' This charming series tells the story of Nowa, a bear-man living alone in a remote forest, who finds and finds a humanized puppy named Airi. The art in this show is irresistibly cute. The characters are designed with so much love, and the animation style is cute. Each scene between Nowa and Airi is a visual treat, filled with heartwarming moments. The plot takes a sweet turn when Nowa goes into hibernation. When Nowa wakes up in the spring, he finds Airi has grown into a big dog, eagerly awaiting his return. Their reunion is both touching and humorous, with Airi showing his affection by nuzzling Nowa's chest and nipples. The relationship between Nowa and Airi is the heart of this series. Their interactions are tender and playful, making the show a delightful watch. The beautiful animation brings their bond to life in the most charming way. The chapter kicks off with the introduction of two new characters. Meet Teppei, a chaotic and unorganized guy working at a bakery. Things start to heat up when a man helps him out, causing Teppei to get all flustered. This handsome helper is Kazuki, who used to be the school delinquent that Teppei had a major crush on. After disappearing for three years, Kazuki now works at Teppei’s family bakery. Kazuki looks incredibly attractive handling the baked goods, and Teppei can't help but fantasize about getting kinky with him. That night, Teppei goes home and touches himself, lost in thoughts of Kazuki. The next day, Teppei struggles with a difficult customer at the bakery. Kazuki steps in, scaring the customer off and saving the day. To cheer Teppei up, Kazuki presents him with an adorable chick-shaped bread, and they share a cute moment together. Things take a turn when Kazuki asks Teppei why he was calling out his name at night, making Teppei blush furiously. Kazuki admits he saw what Teppei was up to, leaving Teppei utterly embarrassed. Just as things are getting intense, they are interrupted by work. Teppei, feeling mortified, cries to himself, assuming Kazuki now hates him. The chapter opens with Shouta chatting with his friend about summer plans. He’s keeping his relationship with the famous actor Josh a secret, afraid no one will believe him. Feeling down because he misses Josh, Shouta walks home, only to be surprised when Josh shows up, grabs him from behind, and tells him to come along. Josh whisks Shouta away on a surprise trip to America! They share a sweet moment, expressing how much they missed each other. However, Josh gets bombarded by his fans. They head to Josh's place to unwind and fall asleep together. The next day, Josh invites Shouta to a party. Shouta is nervous, and things take a turn when party guests swarm Josh, leaving Shouta alone. Some guests mock Shouta's appearance, saying he looks too young for his age. This makes Shouta question if he should be with Josh, and he gets extremely drunk. In a tearful moment, Shouta tells Josh he wants to be intimate, but Josh holds back. Shouta questions if it’s because of his appearance. Josh explains he was holding back because he didn’t want anyone to take Shouta away from him. Josh wanted to show his cool side at the party and didn’t mean to upset him. They share a tender moment, leading to a steamy scene where Josh expresses how much he loves Shouta.
