Our poor protagonist spends all his time learning BL tropes just to dodge them, which obviously means the universe is going to shove him straight into them. It’s meta, it’s funny, and yeah—you’re going to see yourself in it whether you want to or not. Ask and You Will Receive – Office Romance with Heat Niyama’s Ask and You Will Receive  is the “oh no, I accidentally seduced my coworker” office romance, except it’s intentional, messy, and hot. Shinobu tries to keep things casual, but Hikaru isn’t letting him walk away. This one is pure “one night turns into ten nights turns into… oh crap, I caught feelings.” BARBARITIES – Historical Nobles and Scandal Tsuta Suzuki’s BARBARITIES  is historical BL at its finest: scandals, witty banter, and a nobleman too pretty for his own good. Joel tries to keep his head in the political game, but Adam Canning refuses to let him ignore the obvious sexual tension. It’s witty, it’s decadent, and honestly? It deserves a wine pairing. Data Collection with Professor See-Through by Akahachi is the kind of bara manga that starts out looking like a slice-of-life school comedy and then suddenly takes a sharp turn into “what if aliens wanted to study body hair?” territory. It’s wild, goofy, sexy, and strangely wholesome all at once. From the outside, Mr. Tsutamoto is the most intimidating teacher on campus—huge muscles, a deep voice, and a presence that makes his students quake in their shoes. But Satou, one of his unlucky new students, can’t stop staring. The more he notices Tsutamoto’s hairy chest, strong arms, and strict attitude, the more confused (and turned on) he gets. As if that wasn’t enough to handle, an alien arrives on Earth—and it’s just as fascinated with Tsutamoto’s body as Satou is. What is Data Collection with Professor See-Through? This is Akahachi doing what they do best—big, beefy men with expressive personalities in situations that are equal parts funny and horny. The premise is simple: Satou gets stuck with a scary-looking teacher, realizes he has a crush on him, and then gets dragged into a sci-fi twist when an alien sets its sights on the same man. The manga blends slice-of-life school hijinks (students gossiping about teachers, Satou dreading being “saddled” with Tsutamoto) with absurd comedy (the alien observing and taking notes) and of course, the erotic bara energy you’d expect. Tsutamoto’s muscles are always drawn with exaggerated size and weight, his hairy body practically begging for attention. Akahachi doesn’t pull punches here. Once things heat up, they really heat up. There’s a lot of sweat, hair, and intensity, but also a playful awkwardness, especially with Satou trying to balance his crush on his teacher with the bizarre reality that an extraterrestrial is now in the mix. Underneath all the silliness, there’s a little sweetness too—Satou learning to accept his desires, no matter how overwhelming they are. The Art: Hairy, Muscular, and Goofy Akahachi leans into thick linework and heavy shading to emphasize body hair, bulk, and expressions. Tsutamoto looks like a mix between a pro wrestler and a gym coach, while Satou’s smaller, more cartoonish reactions keep the tone light. The alien’s design adds another layer of comedy, as it feels both menacing and absurd, especially when it’s focused entirely on “studying” Tsutamoto. It’s a mix of erotic exaggeration and gag manga faces, which keeps the story fun even when things get explicit. Final Thought on Data Collection with Professor See-Through If you’re into bara that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this one’s a blast. It’s a combination of school-life comedy, alien invasion parody, and full-on erotic bara. On August 26 th , 2025, Our Sunny Days will return for its third season.  The release was confirmed by the author, Jeong Seokchan, earlier this month on their Twitter account, with a new visual! Source And as early as Wednesday, August 20 th , based on my visit to the Lezhin English release calendar, the English translation will resume its same day release as the original Korean release. The return of one of the most beloved BL Manhwa of the decade feels like Christmas has come early. As we prepare for another season of overwhelming cuteness and mature storytelling, I would like to offer the Manhwa, its characters, and its author in a series of blessings.
