A Blessing Going into Season 3 of Our Sunny Days

On August 26^th, 2025, Our Sunny Days will return for its third season.  The release was confirmed by the author, Jeong Seokchan, earlier this month on their Twitter account, with a new visual!

And as early as Wednesday, August 20^th, based on my visit to the Lezhin English release calendar, the English translation will resume its same day release as the original Korean release.

The return of one of the most beloved BL Manhwa of the decade feels like Christmas has come early. As we prepare for another season of overwhelming cuteness and mature storytelling, I would like to offer the Manhwa, its characters, and its author in a series of blessings.

Bless our sexy, cute couple, Sung Ho and Kwon Haebeom. May they continue to grow in their relationship. May they find peace in each other’s arms. May their happiness spread throughout the village and inspire the people. May their affectionate actions bring us joy and hope. And may they have lots of hot sex!

Bless Sung Ho, BL’s hottest daddy and bottom! May he continue to be a great father to his baby girl. May he continue to tease and play with Kwon. May he find success in growing food and crops around his home. And may he be finally able to learn how to cook a proper meal.

Bless Kwon Haebeom, our tsundere husbando, village head, and hungry top. May he find peace as he processes his past and matures into a stronger man. May his love for Sung Ho bring him happiness and a renewed sense of family. May his sea lion persona persist and bring us laughter.

Bless the baby girl, the greatest child ever drawn in fiction. May she make us gush over her cute outfits and personality. May she grow up to become a wonderful person, like her daddies. And with the author teasing her name being given this upcoming season, may her given name be beautiful and symbolic.

Bless the village child, Yeonjoo. May he continue to learn valuable lessons from Sung and Kwon. May he continue to be a good friend to Sung’s baby. And may he and his grandmother live in happiness and joy as he continues to grow into a young man.

Bless Sung Ho’s pet chicken. No reason, I just want to bless an animal in the Manhwa. Though it already received a blessing during Saturnalia near the end of the second season.

And lastly, bless the author of this beautiful BL, Jeong Seokchan. May they maintain good health as they continue to develop, write, and draw this upcoming season of Our Sunny Days. May their art style continue to entertain us and make us happy. May their spicy art make us blush so hard that we turn into lobsters. And no matter how much of the story is left to tell, may their narrative inspire more positive gay love and representation across numerous genres and mediums.
