We had the pleasure of chatting with Juice Anime the Brazilian animator making naughty romantic comedies! Here you will learn all about their work, goals for their animations and more about what you can expect to see!

1. juice anime, Tell us about your work ?

Juice Anime came from a childhood desire of mine to write stories. I found in NSFW a way to monetize this work and make it possible. Even today you can find our animations on pornhub and xvideos, my intention when creating them is that the viewer can watch them with or without clothes and that it be a pleasant experience in both ways. (I hope it's working out lol) I also really like writing comedies, so the element of humor is always in everything I do. At first there was a strange feeling from some of the public who expected perhaps more sex scenes in the animations, but little by little people began to understand our work. A supporter recently described Juice Anime's animations as "naughty romantic comedies", I loved it lol... I think that's the best definition
2. What can fans of BL expect to see from you?

That's a tough question, huh... Lol, let's go, I think that even though they are fictional and playful works, there is an effort in all the stories, both in Retreat, Hostel, Kaue and Send me Stars, so that people can identify with the characters, you know... with their experiences, their insecurities, their flirtations, their flaws and even with the characters' bodies, their physical appearance, they are different bodies and everyone can be interesting and desirable.

I think you can expect good stories and good laughs with the characters. I'm a Brazilian artist, so even though I have a clear influence on anime, I make a point of putting a lot of Brazilianness into the characters, a lot of our culture. The dubbing, for example, which could be in English, I chose to do it in Portuguese so that the voice actors (all real Brazilian actors) feel more comfortable and convey this truth in the dialogues, the comedy and also the slutty stuff (Why not? Lol). There are issues in the animations that don't necessarily involve homosexual relationships but rather the experience of a homosexual, the difficulties, you know, of being a gay man in certain environments, in relationships with a not-so-welcoming family, or characters who grew up in a Christian environment. Again, it's my attempt to make people feel represented in the animations and of course I always try to bring this without weighing down the atmosphere too much, because they are still "naughty romantic comedies". Short answer: expect naughty romantic comedies
3. What has been your favorite project to work on?

Another difficult question... I have a special affection for Hostel. It was the one that showed me as an artist which path I should follow, and it was through it that I became certain that there was an audience in need of this type of content. It also gave me the confidence to tell stories and that sex didn't need to be happening all the time. I thought: It's okay... they're still watching... so I'll delve a little deeper into the characters' stories... And it was incredible I think that as an anime, Hostel is still the most important.

However... lol I personally like Send me Stars a little more Which has a slower pace, it was the series where I allowed myself to develop the characters and the characters' relationships well, and all of this took time (it still does, the series is only halfway through) and people embraced it, they ship the characters, they root for them, I think it's so cute lol and I'm very happy.
4. Who is your personal favorite character from your animations?

I think Mike, from Send me Stars. He's been a good expectation-breaker for people, with each episode people see how vulnerable he is and how strong he is at the same time. Besides being a well of charisma and sarcasm, much of this is more the voice actor's fault (KHAO) than mine, lol, I'm nothing without them.
5. Goals for your work?
I think that bringing entertainment to gays who are adults and want to watch a BL that's a little bit more naughty and, above all, they can point to a character and say "I would be that guy!" I intend to continue improving the style and consistency of the animations, it's not easy, they are 10-20 minute episodes, illustrated by just one man, but I'll get there slowly.
6. Where can folks support your work?

People can follow everything on Juice Anime's Patreon, it's easy to find. Another alternative that I initially created exclusively for Brazilians was an account on the website http://Privacy.com.br with the profile @JuiceAnime where I post the same content as on Patreon but at a more accessible price on a less bureaucratic platform.

Today, anyone from anywhere in the world can subscribe to Privacy if they want. Another thing I insist on is to continue posting full episodes for free on xvideos and Pornhub. There's a lot of content there for those who can't pay to watch. There's a few months delay between the launch of a paid platform and a free one, but it was the best way I found to keep the people who enjoy our work well-fed with content. Lol Most importantly, follow me on X @Juiceanime18. You can find everything there. I'm always posting new stuff there. I'm very grateful for the invitation. I loved it! Thank you very much! Big hug to all the Boys Love fans <3
