After Eiden, Yakumo, and Blade finish an adventure novel in their reading group, they decide to make a pilgrimage. However, they run into a storm on the way. To their good fortune, an old man spontaneously appears who guides them to an ancient castle at the top of a cliff to shelter from the rain. Yet the moment the trio steps into the castle, the gate is locked shut and their clothes are transformed into exorcist garments. Even stranger, they find paper slips with peculiar "rules" written on them stuck to a wall... Just what happened here?
