What is Camp Buddy About?
Keitaro Nagame, our protagonist, finds himself in this summer scout camp that’s basically brimming with vibes and drama. And it's called 'Camp Buddy,' because, duh, we're all about making buddies here...at camp. Yeah!
Now, Keitaro doesn't go it alone; he's got his childhood friend along for the ride. The camp is packed with these fascinating campers. They've got their quirks, their baggage, and oh boy—the stories they could tell!
But wait, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, as much as we'd like it to be. There's this underlying tension among the campers that’s, like, threatening to shut the whole place down. Gasp, I know! So it falls on Keitaro's adorable shoulders to bring everyone together and make Camp Buddy the haven it was meant to be. No pressure, right?
Your job? Help Keitaro navigate this emotional roller coaster. Choose your actions wisely, forge that special bond with your favorite camper, and create the sort of memories that even a sappy visual novel would be jealous of.
Double the Celebrations, Double the Fun from BLits Games!
This year is super special because it's not just BLits Games that's growing older and hopefully wiser; it's also the 5th anniversary of Camp Buddy! To celebrate, there's going to be an Art Contest!
The Theme: "Into the Future"
So the theme for this year's art contest is "Into the Future." What does that mean? Well, besides making me wish I could time travel to a future where I'm a less embarrassing person, it means drawing your fave Camp Buddy or Scoutmaster Season characters living their best lives five years or more after the game's events.
Rules, Dates, and All That Jazz
Start sharpening those pencils or, ya know, calibrating your digital drawing tablets, 'cause submissions open on October 27th and run until November 27th. The winners will be announced on December 1st.
Oh, and let's talk rules. Because yes, we need those.
You have to be 18 or older (as one should be when dealing with adult themes).
You can submit both SFW and NSFW art (you know where my preferences lie).
No violence, gore, or other themes that could make someone uncomfortable.
Original art only. No editing, no tracing—just pure creativity.
Judging and Prizes
The judges will be looking at art style, creativity, and effort. The grand prize includes a $250 USD via PayPal, a body pillow cover of your choice, a digital copy of Camp Buddy and Scoutmaster Season, and more. Runner-ups and honorable mentions also get some delectable goodies.
